The Tao of Gaming

Boardgames and lesser pursuits

Gordon Gecko says…

Greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence … “

Anyway, not a bad game, although I’ve got this niggling feeling that it may have issues. In any case, a reasonable attempt to update 18xx. I wish you had more options on company management (like buying an extra slot for assets, or being able to trash assets). One problem is that the early and endgame feels a bit constrained … you don’t have quite enough mid game. Still, I’d play it again.

As far as Playing Gods, what does Mr. Gecko say?

Yeah. Well you TAKE IT! … Right in the )(# you f!@g scumbag ($#!^#

(I agree with Mr. Gecko. Worse game I’ve “played” in a long time).

Dice Town — Fine, in a simple sort of way that doesn’t really lend itself to a pithy quote from a 23 year old movie.

Although Bluestar still loves Flimsy Harmonica.
